1st Prize Winner – Black and White Category

Congratulations to Terry Loeppky, winner of the Black and White photo contest.

We met at Discovery Coffee where Terry told me he’d been taking pictures forever.

He started in the 70s or early 80s with a thirty-five millimeter camera, but put it aside as other aspects of his life became more important.

Five years ago, Terry retired, bought an iPad and started travelling, but didn’t actually take many pictures with his new toy. When he bought a Lumix, pocket-sized travel camera, he started to take more pictures, both while travelling and around town. That’s the camera he used to take the winning photograph.
