Fish, fish and more fish

By Bob Tuomi

The citizens of our fair village must eat a lot of fish and chips. At least twelve James Bay restaurants, the majority, list fish and chips on their menus, and, it's not just the tourists eating them. In researching this article I found that everyone has an opinion on what they like: some prefer cod; others, halibut; tempura batter or beer batter; coleslaw or side salad; potato fries, or yam fries; regular vinegar or malt. To simply list the restaurants alphabetically or by price simply would not do service to the readers varying preferences so I've organized the list by type of meal offered.
