James Bay Walking Tour
Ever wondered about the species of trees greening our neighbourhood. The City is offering a free walking tour on June 16, led by UVic natural areas specialist Dr. Val Schaefer. Meet at the Beacon Hill Park Watering Can 10:00 am. Registration not necessary.

Three James Bay homes: 39 Lewis Street, a one-and-a-half storey residence built in 1908; 43 Lewis Street, a Arts and Crafts bungalow built in 1928; and, 50 Lewis Street, a two storey Edwardian Vernacular Arts and Craft style residence and garage were designated by Council as Municipal Heritage Sites. These homes, nominated by their owners, contribute to the historic character and uniqueness of Lewis Street
