Readers Write: May 2014

James Bay traffic congestion is understandable.  Principal ingress and egress are limited to Government Street, Douglas Street, and Dallas Road. And within James Bay itself, the narrow streets, laid out in the days prior to the automobile, are not City bus, moving van or even emergency vehicle friendly. To compound the problem, Cruise ships, and bus storage  are located at the furthest point from ingress and egress. Is the solution to speed up traffic or to calm traffic? Do we need more speed bumps or perhaps, more one-way streets? What is your solution?
