Supper Time

Supper time

and the cookin' is easy

Spuds are baking

and the gas is up high.

Oh the gravy's rich

 and the Veggies are boilin'

and soon little darlin'

we will eat Pork Pie.

One of these mornin's

You'll hear the kettle singin'

smell the burnin' toast

as eggs and bacon fry -

but till that mornin'

maybe eat a half a Grapefruit

            just remember in that fruit

there's more than meets the eye.
