March winds and April showers once again bring forth cherry blossoms on James Bay boulevards. It's an ideal time to take a walk along the many streets lined with Japanese Cherry Trees - trees that bloom at different periods during February, March, and April. Blossoms are blown onto sidewalks and lawns throughout much of Victoria. The beauty of shades of pink cherry blossoms creates many opportunities for photographers and painters who take the time to count and enjoy the special spring displays of cherry blossom carpets. Every cherry blossom counts in this all too brief display of Mother Nature's beauty.
