Simple Strawberry Pie

4 cups of strawberries.

1 cup water.

1 cup sugar.

3 tablespoons cornstarch.

2 tablespoons white corn syrup.

Boil together the water, sugar, cornstarch and white corn syrup.

Cook until the mixture begins to thicken.  Allow to cool.

Once cooled, add strawberries and pour into the baked pie shell.

Chill, then serve.
