Book Review
By Rodd Kashdan, PhD
Reviewed by Anne Morrey
The author, Todd Kashdan, writes about how important curiosity is. He tells of how more than 2,000 adults aged 60 to 86 were observed for five years. The people who were found to be the most curious were still alive at the end of the five-year study.
So what is it about curious people that we like? Well, they have a lot of interests, show enthusiasm, tell amazing stories, seem relaxed, and are fun to be with. And, of course, they ask a lot of questions!
Todd Kashdan also writes about relationships. He mentions that active attention that ignites our curiousity and hopefully stops couples from breaking up.
This book would be an excellent Christmas present.
