Thank you for publishing the story about the life of Catherine Smart in the March 2012 issue of the Beacon.
This was an excellent portrayal of this exceptional individual. I hope her story serves as inspiration to others here in James Bay and to all others who may have read it.
Her nephew David who provided much of the information was grateful that his aunt was recognized for her tireless spirit and joy for life. We are glad her story could be told.
