This was the first time that I had come to the James Bay Market in a while. Even the rain could not keep away visitors and the great enthusiasm of the vendors for their products. I was amazed and impressed with the artistic talents, skilled craftsmanship and high quality of the items at the market - from fine jewellery, great t-shirts, gorgeous children's clothing, yummy jellies and canned food to fresh veggies and beautiful metal work. This is a "must-see" event every Saturday from 9 AM to 3 PM at the corner of Menzies and Superior. Talk about a blast from the past: I bought myself a 'tie - dye' T-shirt! All I need is sitar music and hippies singing about peace and love.
