Thanks be to God

Thank you God for blessings to me

Daily these I see

Because wet and cool spring

Flowers are everywhere and

especially roses in abundance

it did bring.

Tourists grace our streets and

Enjoy the wonderful scenery and

say -

What a beautiful place is Victoria

especially in James Bay.

Conversing with them I learn -

About their countries from where

They came and discern

Much knowledge of customs

and style;

So my time spent is worthwhile.

I have learned and met three

Darling children named "Lily."

My latest namesake is a golden

Retriever dog who wags her

Tail and I stroke and talk

To my friend "Lily."

Orchard House has beautiful

Flowers, planted and cared for

by Dawna, our manageress.

As I come home from Thrifty's

I like to sit on the bench and

Enjoy a rest and flowers, I

Confess!

My youngest grandson, Brandon

Came to attend Camosun College

And has a nice place at Holland's

House.

Where he is well cared for by

Bruce and his spouse.

When settled he came to see Granma

and what an enjoyable visit we had!

Sitting on my balcony we

Enjoy the view of Beacon Hill Park

and a happy chat which

made our hearts glad.

It is like a tonic for me to go

Out and shop at Thrifty's and visit

with so many of every age.

Thank you God for blessings galore

For clothing, a home, daily

Food, clean water, friends and

Your love God, so we can't ask

for more.
