Howard Markson castigates our former MP for failing to rely on evidence that show harmful emissions from the cruise ships. Would someone please give Mr. Markson one of the reports that illustrates the toxic impact on air quality in our neighbourhood as the result of cruise ships.

And if Mr. Markson has doubt as to the observations in the reports, he is welcome to inspect the oily soot on my outside window ledges, on the leaves of my tree and the plants in my garden. He can speak to my neighbours who will regularly scrub the residue from window ledges, porch floors and railings.

When the cruise ships are in dock, the evidence of emissions of their idling engines covers the west facing surfaces in our yards. Nothing anectodal about it.

Thank you JBBeacon for letting me get that off my chest.
