Letter - Ethics...

Given the current climate of voters' lack of confidence and trust in Provincial Government, the recent revelation regarding secret  establishment of a severance-package ...oops, "Transitional Allowance" for recalled (disgraced) MLA's, is hardly surprising. Where else can we set up our own (taxpayer-funded) assured income, benefits, pension, etc?

In the old CCF days I was led to believe capitalists were evil and therefore not to be trusted. A genuine CCF/KDP abhorred such traits. Sadly, from recent press listing both Liberal and NDP members granting themselves this further perk, it seems while appearing to be for the non-capitalists, NDP's do love capital. Isn't there a word for such behaviour? What's next,  a suit for 'wrongful dismissal"...?

Meanwhile, back to the trough, eh.
