The Joy of Christmas

Let's remember the needy, who are living

By sharing our bountiful supply and giving -

With love, a box of goodies and toys,

To the needy, with the story of Jesus' birthday,

For all girls and boys.

Christmas laughter in every home, to inspire,

Songs of praise, in carols, for childish hearts desire,

Candlelight and presents, small and grand,

With love and joy, filling every heart, in each land.

At every Christmas table -

I pray, someone is able,

To thank God for the meal, He has provided,

And that, love for our families and country,

May never be divided!

In many homes, from our midst, loved ones

Have gone to their mansion above:

Where the Lord Jesus is caring for them, in love

Especially at this time of year.

They are remembered, for to us, they are dear,

May everyone have a blessed Christmas and a happy New Year.
