It's not often that we see

            a bauble as lovely

            as this year's tree.

It's wigged and wagged,

            and perfectly swagged.

So ethereal too

            is this heavenly hue.

It shimmers like frost,

            upon moonbeams of blue.

A dreamlike sphere

            fading back,

            floating near.

So thank you from me,

            and thank you from them.

'Cause all of us hope;

            that you'll do it again!

(This was written for my neighbour. The tree is a large maple and is truly a treat covered in blue lights. Its on a hill and is seen for blocks. He decorates it carefully, so that it really is a perfect round giant bauble.)
