The other day I picked up a 'Smile Card' at the James Bay Community Centre and am very pleased with all the benefits that come with it.
I do appreciate handing it to the cashier, who swipes it, hands it back, and while I am putting it back in my pocket gives me my receipt and on my way am I.
What could be smoother?

The volunteer at the centre gave me my empty card after recording details which will assure me of efforts to be made if it is lost.

It needed only to be loaded at Thrifty's with more than enough money for my next purchase. The feature which attracted me is the 5% that the Centre receives with each purchase I make.

What an easy way to be charitable.

There are indeed other charities that could be chosen instead.
