Residents participated in two open houses, an online survey and an intensive design workshop to determine the final configuration of the neighbourhood transit network.

Over 120 surveys were filled out, 60 people attended the open houses and 20 individuals took part in the design workshop. The design team included a broad spectrum of neighbourhood residents and stakeholders. Using the results of the survey, the design team designed a new transit network for James Bay.

The design team looked at aspects of the current service, traffic flows, neighbourhood density, transportation needs, zoning, future growth, demographics and more. Using this information, they worked out a network design of routes to better serve the neighbourhood.

Those that live, work or attend school in James Bay neighbourhood can see and comment on the results at: .

The survey closes April 22.
